For a mostly seated routine there's a lot of leg work going on here. It's almost like an exercise class in baby doll nighties. The first time I saw this I was a little indifferent towards it tbh, but I've found it's one of those routines which becomes a grower the more you see of it. A good song too which tests ONJ's voice, though were girls really ever this innocent? As for DOTD, we have a specialist in the cutie baby doll look department, so it has to be Lulu. And for the routine an 8/10
This was sweet. A nice ending for my five Grease reviews.
It's been fun. Grease is one of my all-time favorite musicals so this has been a real treat. I loved this performance. The choreography fit the song perfectly. Lots of cute poses and extensions.
Nothing too fast or complicated. This is a sweet ballad after all. I thought the costumes were adorable. Baby Dolls are always so sweet and I liked the various soft hues. The pom-pom shoes were a perfect match. I loved the Dear Diary prop. It's definitely something every teenage girl has during those special years.
I liked the pairing of Lulu in lovely light blue and Pauline in yellow which is a great color on her.
Gill and Sue had a great duo moment as well.
I loved Gill's pretty close-up moment of her beautiful face
and Patti looked fab in lavender and had a nice solo as well.
Too bad Rosie was absent from the dance. Her presence was missed.
For DOTD I've chosen:
Sue looked breathtaking in Pink and played the part of innocent teenage girl in love perfectly with those winsome looks into the camera.
I liked her solo the best.
I'm giving this performance a
9.5 I thought it was sweet and it complimented the slumber party scene from the movie very well. Out of the five Grease performances, my favorite one was "YTOTIW" but this one follows it. To me the most accurate one was "Summer Nights" and I thought "Sandy" was cute and "GITW" was fun and kinda flirty which is always fun.
