I wonder if any of the two Pans columns will differentiate, just like the 1977 Legs did ?
So to answer my question, six weeks on, we find that two Pans People years differentiate in terms of how we voted for our favourite in the polls and how we score rated over on the Pans People comments section.
Both 1974 & 1976 join the Legs year of 1977 in this. Though its important that both facets of this are judged separately, as its not always the routines with the best choreography and dance execution that are automatically favourites to watch.
Of the 14 separate year possibles in the chart on the first post of this thread, its noticeable that on ten of the years on offer, the best routine in terms of score ratings and our voted favourite routines to watch do match up exactly.
Yet twice in 1976 this isn't the case. This just reaffirms my belief that 1976 was the most diverse and interesting of all our years of our subject. A year often derided for the lesser quality of its popular music, being stuck between Glam Rock, Punk & Disco, yet jam packed full of fascinating TOTPs dance goings-on, and fine dance routines to boot.
